Drum droll please… Our second annual Pride Home Care Red Carpet Event is on the Saturday 7th December 2024 and we’re soooooo excited !!!! It is an annual company event to recognise the hard work of our Care Workers.
Nominations are now open we need your help to choose a finalist for this years 2024 categories!!!
Our Award Categories are ;
Care Worker of the Year Award
This award voted for by fellow colleagues and Service Users recognises the significant role of the home Care Worker in consistently providing a high-quality standard of care for people living in their own homes. They should recognise any changes in their regular Service Users and follow the correct procedures to support this Service User.
The Outstanding Colleague Award
This award voted for by fellow colleagues and Service Users will recognise a Care Worker who not only ensures their Service Users health and mental wellbeing are looked after, but also their colleagues. With a positive attitude, great encouragement and support to their colleagues.
The Team Player Award
This award voted for by fellow colleagues and Service Users will recognise a Care Worker who goes above and beyond! This person will always help, encourage, and have a positive attitude towards Service Users, other professionals and colleagues.
The Office Champion Award
This award voted for by fellow colleagues and Service Users will recognises a member of the Office who has extremely stood out to the Pride Home Care – the office worker who has strong work ethic with a can-do attitude. And of course, the amazing work and kindness. This person will always help, encourage, and have a positive and professional attitude towards Service Users, other professionals and colleagues and brings a breath of fresh air to the office.
Commitment to Service Award
This award voted for by fellow colleagues and Service Users recognises the Care Worker who stands. Who is always willing to go above and beyond to help us provide the best service.
The Long Service Awards
This award has been chosen as a category to recognise outstanding years of service Care Workers have given to their Service Users, Pride Home Care and the Health and Social Care sector. These Care Workers have shown great commitment, dedication, and hard work and continue to ensure a high standard of person-centered care is always provided to our Service Users.
The Newcomer Awards
This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate a new member of staff who ideally commenced and remained in employment in the care sector within the previous 12 months. The individual can either be returning to the sector after at least two years away or be joining for the first time. This Newcomer shows a good understanding of the role they now have and Is aware of a range of choices users of services may have and had willingness and determination to take up opportunities to improve knowledge in a range of settings.
The Leader of the Year Awards
This award will be given to a person who is in a leadership role, who is either a Field Care Supervisor, Head of Care, Care Coordinator, Management or Operations who has shown clear commitment to improving the delivery of care and support within their team. A person who has shown leadership and support to the team and leads by example.
The Putting People First Award
This award seeks to recognise a team member who always puts everyone first before themselves. They demonstrate an innovative approach with a act of kindness to their colleagues to support them to be the best that they can.
The Dignity and Respect Award
This award will be made to an exceptional worker who can convincingly demonstrate that they have put dignity and respect for their service users and colleagues at the very heart of all they do.
Voting is simple. Nomination cards have been posted out to Prides service users and employees. Voting is also open to the public. You can pop in to branch and collect a nomination card which we kindly ask if you could simply nominate an employee by writing the name of the employee you have chosen for each category. We also ask if you can write a few words as to why you have chosen the employee for the specific category. This will be read out as part of the nomination at the Awards evening.
Nominations close on Friday 8th November 2024 and will be verified by an independent. Finalists will be announced and contacted by Friday 15th November 2024.
Official invitations will be sent out to staff early November.

Wow Wow Wow!!! As if a year has nearly passed already!! Another year past, another year of hard graft and another chance to celebrate all the hard work, dedication and commitment from all our staff.
