Pride Homecare

Attleborough’s New Cllr. – Daniel Burcham!

Hello everybody,

First of all, I would like to personally thank everybody from the bottom of my heart for all their lovely comments, message and post of congratulations and support following my co- option on to Attleborough Town Council last evening. I have been overwhelmed by so many messages and you have all said so many lovely things and I really appreciate it so much.
I am so passionate about Attleborough and I am immensely proud to finally serve for your community.

📝 A little bit about me…

I am a dedicated, highly motivated and local individual. I am 35 years of age, was born and brought up in Watton, where I attended both the local primary and high schools. I have lived and worked in Attleborough since 2007.

For the past 16 years I have worked in the care industry, initially as a community carer, then in various administrative and management roles.
In 2019 my partner and I set up Pride Home Care. We already had a reputation of delivering quality personal care and support to individuals in their own homes with its Head Office in Attleborough town centre and a second office in Watton town centre and proud to have won the top 20 Care Company in East of England Award in two consecutive years.

I am able to able to communicate with people from all walks of life and assist them in their day-to-day living. I have a natural passion to help the community which comes hand in hand with my job.

I am well known for my community engagement and previous years we have worked with various charities; Alzheimer’s and Dementia Alliance to name a couple, as well as sponsors of Attleborough Football Club, Attleborough Christmas Lights and a main sponsor of The Kindness Cabin- all very important to our town.

I am also well known for holding community annual events. I am the main organiser of Attleborough Pride and Attleborough’s Santas Grotto and most lately the monthly Crafternoon Clubs. The events I hold are non- profitable and have no financial gain to myself.

I can demonstrate robust and effective communication, organisational and listening skills which would assist me in being an integral part of the council and the management of town affairs. I enjoy being part of a team that provides something for the community.

With a mixture of my dedication and commitment and your backing I’m very excited to accept this challenge.

I hold an open door policy to my staff and now extend this to the community. Feel free to pop in to say hello on your passing it will be great to have the opportunity to personally introduce myself.

I would like to also say thank you to my fellow Cllr.’s for the vote. I look forward to working with you.

Best wishes,
Cllr. Daniel Burcham
