The Care Certificate Programme
There are 15 standards within the Care Certificate, which cover a wide range of subjects and topics. Both written and practical. We recommend that a new full time employee should complete the Care Certificate within 12 weeks of starting their new role. Pride Home Care will offer full support and mentoring through out your care certificate. You will be assigned to a buddy which will offer the one to one support and mentoring. The Company: – Pride Home Care is an established business that has been providing quality Domiciliary Care and Supporting People in their homes for the past 3 years. They have an office based in Attleborough Town Centre. They are currently sourcing additional staff.
The Role: – Providing personal care and support to people living in their homes. Various positions available, Full Time, Part Time, Evenings, Weekends. Weekend working, is either every weekend (if desired) or alternate weekends on a rota.
The Applicants: – Must possess empathy, understanding, patience, an all round caring nature, experience within a similar environment would be an advantage although not essential, flexible working approach with an emphasis on teamwork, be reliable, trustworthy and motivated, excellent communication skills with a sense of humour, ideally, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Also willingness to undertake further training such as Diploma and be DBS checked.
